The Erzgebirge is an Eldorado for mountain bikers. Whether slow and easy or bone-jarring hard, from challenging drops to tours with moderate climbs – the Erzgebirge has just the right trail for each fitness level. And all your efforts are rewarded with gorgeous views and welcoming places to stop for refreshments.

Also for families and guests of all age groups who normally ride their bikes or E-bikes, the Erzgebirge offers a wide range of fantastic routes. You can even cycle across borders, because several well-signposted bike routes lead from the Erzgebirgskamm to our neighbours, the Tschech Republic and back again.

Numerous cycling events such as the now well-known Erzgebirgs-Bike-Marathon (EBM) attract active people and spectators from near and far and make you want more. The Stoneman Miriquidi Road attracts with 13 steep ramps with a gradient up to 18 percent incline and masters over 13 checkpoints at 4900 meters height. This demanding route leads directly past our hotel. As a partner for overnight stays we like to accommodate the Stoneman-Heroes and strengthen them for the next stage.
